![]() ![]() So far, I've found that a lot of the potions/poisons that are in the game - DLC's and CC content included - you have to either loot or purchase from vendors/merchants. So, I've done countless research and spent hours looking up different things online. I finally was able to get Skyrim on my PC, so I've dedicated some good, long hours into this playthrough and I'm to a point where I'm really focusing on the alchemy side of it. They weigh less, and since Cure Disease is their 1st effect you don't need to mix it with anything to enjoy its benefits. makes a two-effect potion of Resist Poison and Regenerate Health, which are two great effects when fighting Frostbite Spiders, Falmers or Chaurus.Īnother tip is to carry around Hawk Feathers instead of the Cure Disease potions. makes a tri-fecta of elemental resists, with Resist Fire, Resist Frost and Resist Shock. Hanging Moss and Juniper are found in great abundance in the Reach, while Canis Roots are mostly limited to the Rift. ![]() makes what I like to call the "Ranger's Tonic", as it buffs One-Handed and Marskman. Imp Stool has Paralysis, with the added bonuses of Damage Health and Lingering Damage Health, so you can get some extra damage while your target is disabled. Deathbell has a x1.5 modifier to its Damage Health effect, and Slow combined with Weakness to Poison makes for a perfect opener. Here's some of my findings:Äeathbell and Imp Stool are probably the two best toxic ingredients, so stock up when you can. I've actually been keeping a document which details what ingredients can be found in what holds, with the aim of figuring out what herbs are the most useful to my playstyle, and where I can find them.
